There are many different kinds of links, and it’s important to understand the differences between them to know what kind of link you want and need. You see, there are two main categories: dofollow and nofollow.

The difference between these two types of links is that when a page has a nofollow link on it, Google will not pass any link juice to the page that gets linked from it. This means that if someone clicks on your nofollow link to visit your site, it won’t affect your SEO at all.

The reason for this is that Google wants to make sure that people aren’t gaming their system by spamming sites with random backlinks in order to boost their rankings. As such, they don’t pass any authority from one site to another when using nofollow links. This can be beneficial for some businesses because they can still get traffic from other sites without risking their own rankings in search engines.

On the other hand, dofollow links are hyperlinks that pass PageRank, Google’s algorithm for measuring a website’s authority. This means that when you use dofollow links in your content, it will help boost the ranking of your website.

When someone clicks on a link from another website, they’re taken to the destination page. That destination page can be anything, like a blog post, an article, or even a product page. In this case, we’re looking at how dofollow links can help boost your rankings when someone clicks on them from another site.

When someone clicks on a dofollow link from another site and lands on your destination page, such as a blog post, that click contributes to the overall authority of your site because Google knows that someone clicked on that link and was taken directly to your page. By using dofollow links in your content creation process, you’re sending signals to Google that tell it: “Hey! Look at all these people clicking on our great content!” Google loves it when people love its search results!

Essentially, if you’re trying to build up your business’s online presence, dofollow links can be a great way to get more visibility in search results.
